OurTop10 rankings are an independent assessment of finance and property professionals operating in Australia, including mortgage brokers, buyer’s agents, conveyancers and accountants.

Rankings are based on publicly available information, verified third-party reviews and qualitative assessment. Listings are updated monthly for accuracy.

How mortgage brokers are ranked

Mortgage brokers are independently evaluated using publicly available information and qualitative criteria, including:

• Customer ratings and reviews: 30%
• Lender panel size: 20%
• Years of industry experience: 20%
• Lending specialties: 15% 
• Approval rate and processing times: 15%

How buyers’ agents are ranked

Buyer’s agents are independently evaluated using publicly available information and qualitative criteria, including:

• Customer ratings and reviews: 30%
• Years of local market experience: 30%
• Service specialisations: 20%
• Transaction track record: 20%
• Geographic coverage: 15% 
• Licensing credentials: 15% 

How conveyancers are ranked

Conveyancers are independently evaluated using publicly available information and qualitative criteria, including:

• Customer ratings and reviews: 30%
• Years of conveyancing experience: 30%
• Service scope: 20%
• Turnaround times: 15%
• Communication standards and licensing compliance: 15% 

How accountants are ranked

Accountants are independently evaluated using publicly available information and qualitative criteria, including:

• Customer ratings and reviews: 30%
• Years in practice: 30% 
• Areas of specialisation: 20% 
• Professional memberships (such as CPA or CA ANZ): 15%
• Breadth of services offered: 15%

Minimum review threshold

To be eligible for ranking, providers generally must meet a minimum public review threshold (typically 50+ reviews, category dependent). Providers with insufficient data may be excluded or unranked.

How often rankings are updated

Rankings are reviewed and refreshed monthly and may be updated more frequently where significant changes occur.

Can providers pay to be included?
